Right from a young age, I knew I wanted a career where I had a chance to make a difference and possessed a strong desire to help others. With a professional background in social work and thirty years of experience helping people in the areas of career planning, job search, job placement, immigrant settlement and leadership development for youth getting into the mortgage industry was an easy decision.
In the fifteen years since my initiation to mortgages, I have worked my way up to principal broker and franchise owner. I help families make the dream of homeownership a reality. In addition, five years ago I started offering financial planning services for my clients. It’s a one-stop-shop approach through which I provide solutions for my clients’ needs regarding insurance, savings and investments.
I have also stayed ahead in terms of the quality and utilization of the latest and best technology. This has enabled me to help more people and sort out their requirements quickly.
The part of my work life that I most enjoy is the chance I get to use my skills, experience and knowledge to bring clients closer to their goals. I find it highly rewarding to know I am a one-stop-shop for all aspects of clients’ finances and a specialist in making dreams a reality.
As an individual, I believe what sets me apart from others is my core values of honesty, respect, fairness, and desire to build trust.
I attribute my success to my strong desire to help others succeed and the fact I always try to do the right thing, even if it means sacrificing an easy dollar. My faith also plays a very important part in my life as it works as my compass for determining what’s right and what’s wrong.
The many years I have successfully run my business and the hundreds of individuals I have served have given me immense satisfaction over the years.
When I am not at work, I have a few different pursuits and hobbies that keep me busy. However, I most enjoy spending time with my family and friends.
I also believe in giving back to the community, and, as part of that belief, I do part take in projects that can benefit the less fortunate in the areas of food collection/distribution and help out at homelessness centers.
I have enjoyed sharing my story about the things which matter to me and how they influence the way I do business.
